Exhibitions

In our modern, newly renovated exhibition you can follow the salmon through their life. We also have exhibitions outside.

Exhibition inside

The exhibition is self-guided and without a physical guide. Here you walk on your own through the salmon's life cycle - from growing up in the river, via the migration to the open ocean, back through the fjord and up the feeder river until it stops at the waterfall. Along the way you can read, listen, print and test your knowledge with interactive elements and quizzes. The goal is to create reflection and show what wild salmon mean to us.

Outdoor exhibition area with information posters, snow-covered paths and houses in the background, surrounded by mountains and low clouds.

Outdoor exhibition

The outdoor exhibition is free and available year-round.

You can learn about the salmon, its life cycle, what it has meant to us, the threats it faces, how it is doing, what has been done to take care of it and what is needed to secure the salmon for the future.

By using the QR codes at the exhibition, you can gain in-depth knowledge if you wish.
