Exhibitions

In our modern, newly renovated exhibition you can follow the Atlantic salmon through their life. We also have exhibitions outside.

Exhibition inside

The exhibition is self-guided, with no physical guide. You explore the salmon’s life cycle at your own pace — from its early years in the river, through its migration to the open ocean, and back through the fjord and up the spawning river to the waterfall, impossible for salmon to pass. Along the way, you can read, listen, and test your knowledge through interactive elements and quizzes. The aim is to encourage reflection and highlight what wild salmon mean to us.

It is important to us that as many people as possible can enjoy the exhibition and learn about salmon. Read about accessibility at the center .

Outdoor exhibition

The outdoor exhibition is free and available year-round.

You can learn about the salmon, its life cycle, what it has meant to us, the threats it faces, how it is doing, what has been done to take care of it and what is needed to secure the salmon for the future.

By using the QR codes at the exhibition, you can gain in-depth knowledge if you wish.
