Our amazing wild salmon!

Salmon have lived on earth for millions of years, but human use of salmon and nature has meant that there are not many wild salmon in our rivers.

If salmon is to be with us in the future, everyone must know and care about it. Salmon is our common heritage and our common responsibility!

Teaching plan for teachers

At the digital wild salmon center you will find in-depth information about our salmonids, their life cycle and biology, their place in nature and the relationship between salmonids and humans.

We have developed our own pages with teaching materials for teachers. There are a number of tasks and activities for use in teaching. All are aimed at different competence goals.

You get access to the "Wild Salmon Calendar", "The Great Salmon Game" and the student booklet "Who lives in your river?" with guidance for teachers.

You will also find a number of quizzes that provide knowledge related to different phases of salmon life and the environment in which the salmon lives.
