Sogn Art Center is a modern exhibition space for art and culture.

Exhibitions and events throughout the year

The center was established in 2011 as an extension to house the works of local artist Hans Gjesme. It hosts exhibitions, concerts and cultural events throughout the year.

Lærdalsonen Hans Gjesme (1904–1994) is one of the most important artists in Sogn. Gjesme depicts life and the landscape around him with a close eye and a strong connection to Lærdal.

The collection includes paintings, drawings and portraits from his entire career.
