Opening of the visitor center on May 1st
First visitor group in 2026 in place at newly opened visitor center in Lærdal.
On May 1st, the Wild Salmon Visitor Center welcomed the first group for the 2026 season. The group came all the way from Slovakia and marked the start of a new visitor period.
To make things a little more exciting, the group was given a free tour of the exhibition by general manager Alf. It was an engaged and interested group who got to learn more about wild salmon and life in the river.
We look forward to a new season with many great experiences and visitors from both Norway and abroad.
